Itinerary:
This is a 14.5 mile long loop hike on the AT and Bluff Trails with a visit to the Big Devil's staircase. The hike is rated as difficult only because of it's length. The elevation change is minimal - about 1000 feet over the first 3-4 miles. Despite the lack of elevation change, this hike contains fairly nice vistas.

There will be an optional dinner following.

Required Items to Bring:
Appropriate footwear (hiking shoes/boots)
At least 3 L of water
Lunch and snacks
Money for carpool and park entrance fee ($10/car not per person)
Recommended Items to Bring:

How to Get There:
Event Directions:1.) Get onto I-66W
2.) Take exit 13 for VA-79 toward Front Royal/Linden/VA-55
3.) Turn left at VA-79
4.) Turn right at VA-55
5.) Turn left at US-340
6.) Turn left at Skyline Drive
7.) Parking lot is between mile marker 12 and 13 on Skyline Drive.
