Join the National Park Service for a bicycle tour of the National Mall's lesser known monuments. This is of the free tours given by the NPS every weekend through-out the summer. From the NPS National Mall Bike Tour

Discover Lonely and Overlooked Landmarks. You may have seen them on a map, driven past them hundreds of times, or even walked up to one of them out of curiosity. What are they, who do they memorialize, and, more importantly, why are they here? In a city full of colossal and iconic memorials to great men and even greater deeds, these statues, urns, and symbolic gestures of friendship and remembrance can be found all over DC, yet, their stories have gone largely untold, until now. Find out the stories of these lonely landmarks from our Rangers.

We will meet at the Jefferson Memorial at 12:45pm. The tour starts promptly at 1pm and officially lasts until 4pm. Afterward, we may find some bike friendly eatery.

If you don't have a bike, information on rentals can be found at Bike Rentals
