Join us for this 'icy-hot' get-together at a resort house rental on Deep Creek Lake. There will be an organized hike on Sunday morning, and Saturday will be a free-for-all (skiing/snowtubing/horseback riding/other hiking) day. Friday & Saturday dinners, as well as Saturday's lunch, will also be at your own additional expense/decision, but Sunday's lunch and both breakfasts included. If anyone wants to organize mini-excursions during the event (see list of area activities here), e-mail your event organizers.

Hike Info

Sunday morning, 10:30 AM approx., 1 mile in length, loop , easy difficulty, minimal elevation change, Swallow Falls State Park Loop - highlight: you'll see the roaring Muddy Creek Falls, Maryland's tallest waterfall, when its at full-peak because of the melting snow, ice. Note: the last two year's this trail has been very icy or snow covered. Please be prepared.


Our house features 8 bedrooms, 8.5 baths, and accomodations for 26. We are discounting the trip rate for 6 more people that are to crash on their own air mattresses/the floor AFTER ALL BED SPOTS BOOK FIRST.

- Registration is NOT COMPLETE until you've signed up and paid by the registration cut off date. The money must be in the MOC's possession by that date. No exceptions.
- When a minimum group size appears, this is to let you know that the event will be cancelled with refunds to those who have already paid, if the minimum number of registered participants is not met. For any events where MOC needs a minimum number of participants, there will be absolutely no refunds of money if you or your guest(s) cancel.
- We encourage all members to follow our Etiquette Guidelines at all times while participating in MOC events.

Cost & Payment:
Cost Includes:Two-night stay (including security deposit, tax, and administrative fees), Saturday, Sunday breakfast, Sunday lunch, event planning, and payment processing fees.
Payment Cut Off:Payment must be received by the MOC on Mon, Jan 1 2007.

Cancellation/Partial Attendance:
Please review our Cancellation Policy carefully!
*Note: You can choose to arrive at any time during this event, however, there are no discounts offered for partial attendance. You can cancel up until Jan. 15th for a full refund of your money. After Jan. 15th, there will be no refunds unless the event is cancelled due to lack of interest or severe weather.
