On Saturday we値l meet at the carpool location and drive to the Elkwallow Picnic Grounds in the Shenandoah. We値l then hike 7 miles with 2,000 ft elevation gain along a particularly nice section of the Appalachian Trail to Pass Mountain Shelter.

On Sunday we値l hike back down the AT to the Neighbor Mountain Trail. The trail follows the ridge of Neighbor Mountain with views in both directions. We値l then descend 2 miles and 1,500 feet to Jeremy痴 Run. The trail up Jeremy痴 run is a pleasant 6 mile walk along the water as it crisscrosses back and forth across the run.

Total mileage for day two will be about 14 miles and 2,800 feet of elevation gain.
