|This event is FREE to attend - however you are given an assignment to compensate for your free admission! Read on to learn more...BRBR For our March Wine Tasting event, our red wine selection will be Chianti (Italian) and our white wine selection will be Pinot Grigio (Italian). !--A red wine & a white wine selection will be announced prior to this event (about a month or so in advance).-- For each attending person, you must show up with one bottle of either the red OR white wine. Select a brand that you haven't tried or something you know others will love, just make sure it's one of the two choices above, and it is Italian! At the event, people will be able to pick and choose the ones they want to taste! This will help people find the brands of specific wines that they really like. No need to go overboard on the price - some of the best stuff is the cheapest with the most plain label. We recommend not picking something off the shelf that advertises on national TV, with the reason being they spend so much in advertising they don't have much money left to produce a decent wine.BRBR In addition to showing up with that wine, !--there will be a food theme for the evening-- each person is asked to bring one Italian food item (salad, pasta, pizza, gelato, cookies - anything that is Italian and preferably a finger food). !--Each person also needs to bring something to contribute to the theme.-- Please let us know what you plan to bring, so there aren't duplicates of the same dish. !--We'll announce the theme at the same time we announce the types of wines.--BRBR In no way must you be a wine expert to attend this event.
