Is one of your best friends of the 4-legged version? Do you love to hike? Have you ever wanted to hike with your pooch but didn't know where to go, how to do it, what to take? Well, come on out to the first seminar on hiking with your dog!

As the K9 coordinator for the Club, I am interested in encouraging more people to hike with their K9 companioins and to organize dog-friendly events.

Did you know that hiking with your dog is not only physically great for them, but is very benificial for their mental health as well? I will be going over some of the basics needed when hiking with your dog such as where to go, what to bring, dog hiking gear, basic first aid for your pooch, and general trail etiquette.

Afterward, there will be an option to go down to one of the dog-friendly bars in Annapolis for a little social hour. Yes, you can actually have your dog on the patio behind the pub!
