Sure, we're cool and great at all kinds of outdoor activities. But can we Salsa? Will I look silly? Come join us for this unprecedented DC night out. You may look silly alright, but so do most of us. And we'll have lots of fun. We'll take a one-hour Salsa lesson from a very friendly instructor, Miguel, at Latin Jazz Alley. He'll make sure you learn one or two Salsa steps so you can go impress someone. And we'll have dinner at a nearby restaurant, somewhere on the most happening 18th street at Adams Morgan. brbr After that, if you're ready for the city, we'll go explore it!

Required Items to Bring:
- A willingness to learn, and enthusiasm for having funbr - Cash for the Salsa class ($5) and dinner/drinks ($15 - $25)br - Metro fare
Recommended Items to Bring:
Use our Event Checklists to make sure you have everything you need.

How to Get There:
Event Directions:Driving to Adams Morgan can be tricky, and finding a parking spot there even worse. Taking metro may be a better way to go. Columbia Heights station (Green Line) is the closest, not in the best neighborhood though. I'll suggest you go in a group of 4+ on your way back. Woodly Park (Red Line) is the next and safer even late at night. How about getting to the event? I think either station is fine. From metro station to the club: Go a href="" target="_blank"here/a and click on the last link on the right, 'Change to this location', then search with ‘Metro Station’. You’ll see a list of nearby metro stations and directions to Latin Alley. brbr However, if you must drive: brbr From Baltimore:br Take I-95 S toward WASHINGTON. Merge onto CAPITAL BELTWAY/I-495 W via exit number 27 toward SILVER SPRING. Merge onto NEW HAMPSHIRE AVE NE via exit number 28B toward TAKOMA PARK. Turn LEFT onto NEW HAMPSHIRE AVE NW. Pass through 1 roundabout. NEW HAMPSHIRE AVE NW becomes SHERMAN AVE NW. Turn RIGHT onto COLUMBIA RD NW. End at 1721 Columbia Road Washington DC. brbr From Frederick:br Take I-270 S. I-270 S becomes CAPITAL BELTWAY/I-495. Merge onto MD-185 S/CONNECTICUT AVE via exit number 33 toward CHEVY CHASE. Enter next roundabout and take 3rd exit onto CONNECTICUT AVE. Turn LEFT onto PORTER ST. Stay straight to go onto KLINGLE RD. Turn RIGHT onto ADAMS MILL RD. Turn SLIGHT LEFT onto QUARRY RD. Turn RIGHT onto 18TH ST. Turn LEFT onto ONTARIO RD. Turn LEFT onto COLUMBIA RD. End at 1721 Columbia Road. brbr a href="" target="_blank"Map/a brbr
