Dual event with Charm City Social Club

1986 • PG • Director: Jim Henson • Starring: David Bowie, Jennifer Connelly, Toby Froud
Fifteen-year-old Sarah accidentally wishes her baby half-brother, Toby, away to the Goblin King Jareth who will keep Toby if Sarah does not complete his Labyrinth in thirteen hours.

Grab a blanket, picnic under the stars, and watch a great film selection inspired by AVAM's current exhibition, “The Visionary Experience: Saint Francis to Finster.” The Hughes Family Outdoor Theater features seating for more than a thousand on the natural amphitheater formed by Federal Hill; a 30-foot wide screen held from above by Adam Kurtzman's “Giant Golden Hand;” a twinkling view of the city; and an amazing, all-ages, community experience that is FREE! AVAM's #Flicks series was listed by Travel + Leisure Magazine as one of the "World's Best Free Things," and won City Paper's 2014 Best of Baltimore award for "Best Rain or Shine Event." And don't forget: the museum is OPEN & FREE between 5pm and 9pm on Flicks nights! I will actually try to arrive by around 6:30 and hold some spaces --but I'm only going to guarantee that I will be there by 7:00 and that you will enjoy this event! This event is going to be popular so space will fill up quickly. Please feel free to bring some food to eat ahead of the movie, or adult beverages to enjoy under the stars. The movie starts at 9:00, but try to get there as close to 7ish as you can to make sure you have a good spot for the movie.

A word about parking: The earlier you arrive, the easier it will be for you to find a spot. There are usually spots just down the way at: Digital Harbor High School, 1100 Covington St. Baltimore, MD 21230
