Itinerary:

Join me for an exploratory (no- I've never been to this park) hike of Riverbend Regional Park, across the river (the Virginia side) from the Billy Goat trail.  Hike taken from www.hikingupward.com.  We'll do the 4.5 mile loop described here: http://www.hikingupward.com/OVH/RiverBend. Post hike lunch in town is always an option. The webpage lists 2.5 hrs for the 4.5 mile loop.  That seems to be a fairly reasonable estimate, as there are no large elevation changes on this hike. Fido, if well behaved, is welcome on the hike.

With only a small amount total elevation gain, the interconnecting trails are suitable for just about any skill and fitness level. The hiking trails at Riverbend Park can be done in a number of different combinations to suit the abilities of any hiker.
