We will be hiking all the loops within Greenbelt Park, one of the United States' first national parks.  Right outside Washington, DC, Greenbelt Park is a little getaway area that is probably overlooked more often than not!  The total distance is about 5 miles, and depending on when we finish, we will head to a nearby restaurant for lunch.

We will meet at the park entrance and then head into the park as a group.

This is a FAMILY-FRIENDLY and DOG-FRIENDLY event!  Although the loops are relatively flat, we will stop as often as needed to ensure that our fellow little hikers are rested and fed.  We will be hiking a leisurely pace (about 1-1.5 mph), so please keep that in mind.

Required Items to Bring:

Please make sure you bring enough food/water for yourself and the kids and/or dogs.

Dress for the weather, as it will be in the mid-50's.

Sneakers are good for these trails, but it might have rained the night before, so bring appropriate footwear.

Recommended Items to Bring:
Use our Event Checklists to make sure you have everything you need.
