Itinerary:

There's two alternative routes we can take depending on if there's enough cars for a shuttle. If there is, we'll put in at the boat ramp on Matthewstown road on the Tuckahoe. We'll follow the Tuckahoe out to the Choptank. Take the Choptank down to Kingston Landing. We can either end the paddle there, or after a short break, head up King's Creek. If there's not enough cars for a shuttle then we'll just put in and take out at Kingstown Landing. Go up the Choptank for a ways, then head back down and shoot up Kings Creek. There's also a nice little swimming hole/beach just a few hundred feet up from Kingston Landing if anyone wants to practice rescues afterwards. But it's the Choptank so water quality may be an issue. Will only know the the day or so beforehand if we want to immerse ourselves in it.. I'm not sure where in Easton to rent Kayaks. However, I have a spare kayak (with everything else you need) and would happily lend it. Just let me know if you need it when you RSVP. On the way back, we'll stop for dinner at one of those great seafood restaurants at Kent Narrows.
