Itinerary:

The American Visionary Arts Museum (AVAM) Flicks on the Hill have returned for the year! This year starts out with the Mel Brooks' classic "Spaceballs" For the uninitiated, this consists of sitting on the "stadium" (haha) style seating on the eastern side of Federal Hill and watching a very good quality projection on a 30 foot screen above the museum. Movie starts about 9:00 pm and FREE.

Bring a blanket and your own grub, picnic-style. If there's rain, the movie will be shown inside. Dogs are permitted on a leach (or leesh) in the Park.

But first, starting at 7pm, Max's Taphouse will be hosting a $10 all you can drink beer garden. You love Max's, you know it, and if you haven't experienced their selection, you will. http://avam.org/news-and-events/events/flicks-premiere-party.shtml

How to Get There:
Event Directions:

I recommend those coming from outside Baltimore City to use I-95 Exit 55 (first exist south of the tunnel toll) to access Key Highway from Locust Point area instead of downtown/Inner area via Conway St, etc. because of road construction and typical traffic congestion. Metered parking on Key Highway and some on Covington St. Carpool or take public transit (MTA) if possible.
