This will be scenic bike ride starting and ending at Savage Mill. We will ride a short distance and connect with the Patuxent Branch Trail and travel along the Little Patuxent River, circle Lake Elkhorn and return. The total distance is about 11 miles. There is some street riding but most of the ride is on the trail. About 90 percent of the trail is paved, and one section is hard packed gravel/dirt. Hybrid bikes are recommended but road bikes can make the trail. We will return in time for the monthly social hour at the Ram's Head, where you can enjoy a guilt free cheeseburger.
