|On July 19, 2002, the MOC came to fruition as
the "virtual clubhouse," the web site, launched
- inviting over 7,000 likeminded individuals to
explore Maryland and the surrounding region
while meeting many new friends. This July,
we'll be celebrating our nine-year anniversary
in style! Meeting up at Quiet Waters Park in Annapolis, MD,
we'll picnic with
MOC members, family, and friends. Come
join us for some fun games, mingling, and

If you are reading this, then YOU are invited.
This year we hope to do it BIGGER and BETTER than ever before. Have you EVER been involved in the MOC and/or want to? This event is for you! We want to encourage all of our members that have come and gone over the years to come back out and have a "reunion" with others! Did you meet your spouse through the MOC and then go off and start a family? Then, this event is for you too! Bring them all! We want to see as many folks as possible at this event!
You are encouraged to bring guests: family (children welcome), friends, neighbors, coworkers, etc. Please note all guests when signing up for this event in the sign up form.
The MOC has reserved the Dogwood pavilion for our day full of activities, and food will be served approximately 12:30-2:30 pm. Think about bringing volleyball, bocce, horseshoes, kick ball, etc.
Food will be catered from Nando's Peri-Peri in Annapolis and will include:
Utensils, paper products to be provided.
There is no alcohol allowed in Quiet Waters Park.

Is your company or organization interested in donating an outdoorsy prize or two for giveaway prizes at this year's MOC picnic? Please let us know. We'd love to hear from you!
Trivia will be around 3 pm in the pavilion and is optional to play, but will help you to meet other attendees.
We cannot pull this off without volunteers. Please inquire about volunteering (helping set up games for adults and/or kids, setup and/or break down food/supplies, decorating, etc.) please contact Amy.
We're also looking for nice-to-have's (donated if at all possible): event photographer, face- painting, caricatures, a band to play or karaoke or a speaker system for mp3 music, companies willing to donate Out"Door" Prizes (gear, gift certificates, etc.), a bakery to supply a cake. If you know of any, please contact Amy.
Help offset the per person cost for our members by paying a nominal event sponsorship fee. We have options from simply hanging a vinyl banner - to- coupons (for your company's products or services) for attendees -to- have a bring-your-own-canopy setup with staff members to talk to our members about your products and services. Sorry, with this kind of crowd, group introductions are rather hard. Please bring an open mind and be willing to say hello to folks and introduce yourself. Everyone's here for the same reason!
Failure to pay during your RSVP or failure to add Notes that you will be sending a check will result in immediate removal from the Attendance List. With this crowd, we are strictly following policy and keeping our sanity. Thank you for your immediate payment during registration.

- Registration is NOT COMPLETE until you've signed up and paid by the registration cut off date. The money must be in the MOC's possession by that date. No exceptions.|
- When a minimum group size appears, this is to let you know that the event will be cancelled with refunds to those who have already paid, if the minimum number of registered participants is not met. For any events where MOC needs a minimum number of participants, there will be absolutely no refunds of money if you or your guest(s) cancel.
- We encourage all members to follow our Etiquette Guidelines at all times while participating in MOC events.

If you are registering for a guest that is a child, please do not submit payment at the end. You will be billed via PayPal for the amount you owe for anyone 6 and older in your group attending.|

*Note: You can choose to arrive any time during this event, however, there are no discounts offered for partial attendance. You can cancel up until July 12th for a full refund of your money. After July 12th, there will be no refunds unless the event is cancelled. If it rains, the event is still on - we have reserved a covered picnic shelter. There are no refunds if it rains.
