This is an easy hike around the walking paths in scenic Quiet Waters Park along the South River. The length will be about 4 miles, walking through the park out to the water and back. Afterward, we'll grab some lunch nearby.

Please note that while leashed dogs are welcome on this hike, the dog beach is no longer open due to erosion.

Please also note that although there is no official carpool for this event, all attendees are encouraged to form their own carpools by contacted fellow attendees.

How to Get There:
Event Directions:From Baltimore: I-695 Beltway to I-97. Follow I-97 South to US-50 east and immediately take Exit 22 - Rt. 665 (Aris T. Allen Blvd). Stay on Rt. 665 until it ends and merges with Forest Drive. Follow Forrest Drive for 2 miles. Turn right at the Exxon Station onto Hillsmere Drive. (There is a sign in front of Exxon saying �Quiet Waters Park-Next Right�). The park entrance is 100 yards on the right hand side. Park in the shopping center across the street from the entrance, in the spots nearest the street.

From Washington: Take Rt. 50 East all the way to Exit 22, then follow directions above.
