Itinerary:
Whether its a round of golf you like, relaxing on the beach, jet skiing, shopping, clubbing at Seacrets, a stack of pancakes at Dough Roller, crabs at Phillips, volleyball, bocce on the beach, walking the boardwalk, riding roller coasters and other rides, flying a kite, or a visit to Assateague Island floats your boat, we're getting together for an end-of-summer beach trip in Ocean City! Nothing will be planned or provided except the hotel rooms, however, we'll split into smaller groups or decide what to do when we get there. For instance, Saturday evening may be a good time to visit Seacrets, since we'll all be there and can sleep in a bit the next morning.BRBR This will be a pretty easy-going kind of event. You can do whatever your little heart and checkbook desires. If this is your first event with the club or you are relatively new to the group, don't panic about not knowing anyone...we'll make sure that no one gets left out of the activities. There will be much going on, and you'll have an assortment of activities to pick from.BRBR Prices are per person, based on double occupancy. If you already know who you are sharing a room with, please specify in the Notes field of your registration. Otherwise, we will pair you up with another member of the same sex to share a room. (If you have an uncommon name, and it is hard for us to tell your sex based on your name, please mention your sex in the Notes field of your registration).BRBR Hotel information is still TBA, however we are selecting a location based on the following order of preferences:BR - PriceBR - QualityBR - Location to the BeachBR - Location to the BoardwalkBRBR This weekend happens to be the weekend of Sunfest 2003 - where the town celebrates summer's end and fall's fabulous beginning. This nationally recognized festival is a Top 100 Event in the USA, and people come from miles around to enjoy this fantastic annual event. Enjoy fun-filled days of music by well-known performers, great food and an endless array of arts and crafts under big-top tents in south Ocean City. Admission to the festival is free and includes hayrides, scarecrow making, a treasure hunt on the beach, and much, much more. Sunfest '03 shines daily from 10 AM to 10 PM on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, and from 10 AM to 6 PM on Sunday, Sept. 18-21, 2003.
