Write Up:
The group had beautiful weather for the tour which was led by guide, Robert Moore. Robert provided the group with all kinds of information on the battle that took place at Gettysburg on July 1st-3rd, 1863. The group learned all about the monuments at Gettysburg and what the various designations on the monuments mean. The guide also gave an excellent account of the events that occured during the entire battle. He also added a few entertaining stories of some of characters involved in the Battle of Gettysburg, such as General Sickles. The bike tour lasted 3 hours and covered approximately 7 miles (with a few climbs thrown in for fun!) and was hilighted by Little Round Top and Devils Den. After the tour some members went on a hike, while others checked out the new visitors center.

The group was joined by Kim Buhrman after the bike tour for a hike.
