Write Up:
The morning started out dreary and gloomy when I left the house. When I arrived at Marley Station the sun came beaming from behind the clouds and the day started to look up. Others arrived and everyone got their bikes together and took care of pre-ride checks & minor problems. Ted, Dennis, and Vlad assisted Alison with her bike's brakes. They made the needed adjustments and we were off to the trail.

Sarah and I kept a quick pace through the first few miles though at each road crossing we stopped and waited for everyone to catch up. As the morning passed more runners and skaters were coming onto the trail. Most of the ride, everyone biked beside someone else and chatted away the miles.

After reaching the end of the trail we came to a picnic table and we chilled for a little bit. We marveled that the weather was perfect for the event. Some still wanted to go farther down to Annapolis. Most everyone in the group decided that 4 more miles wasn't that bad and compromised to go to the Severn River Bridge. We biked past the World War II memorial and to the peak of the bridge. We could see miles of water, beautiful homes on the waterfront, Naval Academy buildings, and the MD state capital building could be seen off in the distance.

After retracing our route, we put our bikes away and most everyone went to Ruby Tuesday's in the mall to have lunch.

In total, we biked about 25.5 miles, making several stops along the way.
