You could not have asked for a better day to visit Washington D.C. in January! We all gathered outside on the strip to the National Art Gallery for introductions before heading into the museum. The museum had such a large display it would have been impossible to take in all in just one day let, alone an hour and a half. Although the weather was a bit unseasonable, with temperatures in the low 50's, the skating rink was open! And it seems like we were not the only ones who wanted to enjoy the fresh air while skating outdoors in the Sculpture Garden. Although the line was long, it did move quickly and we were all able to get our skates on and get a really good workout. After we had our fill of fresh air and ice skating we walked a few blocks to Jaleo's for tapas and refreshments.
