Write Up:
The day started out very windy and overcast- but, no need to worry- Young had doughnuts, bagels, coffee, and orange juice waiting for all of us at the carpool location!

We piled into cars, after doing a basic introduction where we said our names, location, and favorite ice cream flavor. In about 30 to 45 minutes we made it to North Beach (about 11:30 AM)! Nestled on Chesapeake's 'western' shore, the town of North Beach epitomizes 'land of pleasant living.' Its seven-block waterfront contains a public fishing pier, a half-mile-long boardwalk with accompanying bike path.

We started out playing some games to pass the time, when we first arrived, including football and Taboo. Rebecca served up her 'Lemonade' and 'Chocolate Milk' mixtures, while I drank my 'Apple Juice' right from my Camelbak. When the sun broke, a couple of us walked the pier and later dipped our feet in the edge of the water. In the afternoon, there was a game of Bocce ball, with CeCe and Kavitha taking the win. We ate packed lunches and/or bought food from this one little hot dog stand near the beach. There was a game of Pictionary, more football, and lots of people watching. Both Robert and Ryan decided to walk out into the water, and Aaron was soon to follow until he realized there were a few jellyfish floating around.

At the end of the day (about 6 PM), nine of us drove back to Bentley's in College Park for burgers and beers.

Young, thank you for another good event idea and successful event!
