Write Up:
Elizabeth Ernst of Ameriprise Financial in Annapolis left the agenda a little bit up in the air on this session - to accomodate everyone's questions about finance. Since we've now done a few of these, she is going to start somewhat of a series, so that if you come to more than one, you won't hear the same exact info over and over again. I felt like this format worked well with our small class of about a dozen (including members of another local organization). Some people came to hear the info for the first time, some for a second time, and some as a basic refresher.

We all met up between 7 and 9 PM in one of the business buildings near the Mall of Columbia. Ameriprise provided the attendees with sandwiches and lemonade for making it out to the free seminar!

At this very educational event, the attendees learned about: Ameriprise in general and what they can offer, types of life insurance (the pros and the cons), types of investments (the pros and the cons), and what to start doing now to put us on the path to our personal goals.

Everyone walked away with their own objectives in mind and quite possibly the interest to have a free one-on-one consultation with Elizabeth at a later date to address their individual situation.
