Write Up:
Nine riders met at the car pool site and proceeded to Blackwater Wildlife Refuge near Cambridge, MD. The high point of the day was seeing two bald eagles in the first two miles of the ride. They were only about 50-60' from the road. During the ride we would also see some egrets, blue herons, and ospreys. Virtually the entire 38 mile ride was through beautiful marshland.
