Event Organizer(s): Skip Daly, Amy Pickwick
Participants:Skip Daly, Amy Pickwick, Emer Daly, Robert Burger, Martha Burger

Write Up:
A couple of the MOC folk decided to venture down to Vienna, VA on a week night to catch a solo/acoustic show at Jammin' Java. The sound in the cafe was immaculate, as Todd Sheaffer (of Railroad Earth & From Good Homes) put on an hour and a half long set, just after Matthew Kahler put together a 45 minute set of solo/acoustic guitar and bongo music. Made Skip want to go "bongo" himself. Todd's music reminded me a little bit of Dylan, and even a little bit of Jayhawks. I would love to see him with the entire band sometime. I think they are from Jersey. (Matthew Kahler is from Atlanta, GA and gets his inspiration from James Taylor).

Definitely look for Skip putting together some more "music" events like this in the future. He does pick good shows! Thank you Skip!

Note about the photos: they are a little dark, I know...I didn't want to have the musicians fall off the stage with a flash, so I didn't use one. Sorry about that!
