Write Up:
This hike took place on a mild November day. Immediately we started with an uphill to the Ensign Cowall Shelter, and then a quick downhill and another uphill to the top of the Ridge. At the top we were greeted by a friendly Boy Scout troop from Delaware. They told us all about the highest point in Delaware, which is on top of a hill near the school they go to.

After a break on an overlook facing Catoctin, we continued on the flat but rocky ridge to Black Rock Cliffs. While talking about car accessories, we noticed a lot of noise and smoke coming from some cars way off in the distance. Apparently, there was a stock-car race going on west of Frederick. We couldn't make out who or what was winning, but they made a lot of noise.

We quickly made it back to Wolfsville Rd while discussing various international cuisines. A ride to historic Frederick and Brewers Alley followed. Lucas gave an enthusiastic thumbs-up to his woodfired pizza.

Thanks to everyone who came out and I hope you had a good time!
