Write Up:
Could not have asked for a nicer day! Half of the group met in Columbia and we consolidated into four cars to venture out to Westminster. On the way there, we were stuck behind an antique Ford pickup driving 45 for the length of 32.

We met with the other half of the group inside the main gate in a grassy knoll. Everyone seemed very excited about the festival. At a little after 10:15 we headed into the festival as a large group. Natural groups formed to spread out the group to a variety of wineries, but only after we enjoyed "PARTY IN A BOTTLE!!!" by Woodhall. I think the favorites of the day were Linganore, Loews, and Boordy. Maryland makes some great wines!

At 12:30 we all reconnected in front of the crab cake booth for lunch. We found a grassy knoll to sit by the music as we ate lunch and enjoyed reading the T-shirts of those who passed by us.

After lunch, we dispersed into the crowd one last time. Some people were trying to use up the last of their sample coupons, some people were sobering up, but everyone was having a great time. At this point the festival was becoming more and more crowded. A little after 3:30, the bulk of the group began retrieving their purchases from the wineries and taking trips out to the cars. By 4 we were on the road.

It was definitely a festival we will have to come back to next year!
