Thank you to everyone who attended this event! For those of you who thought about it but didn't sign up, you missed out. The sky was perfectly clear, and the garden was beautiful. We walked a total of 1.5 miles along mostly paved trails. Our guide, Sue, pointed out many trees that are unusual in this area and showed us the various pond critters near the Japanese tea house. She also volunteered plenty of gardening tips for this region, showing us beautiful and unusual flowers that thrive here. Favorites of the group included the fragrance garden, the greenhouse, and especially the amazing, abundant rose garden. The group seemed to click quickly--everyone was very friendly and open. This was my first event for Maryland Outdoor Club and I was really happy to meet everyone. Thank you all for making this a fun event!
