Perfect day for an easy laid back paddle.   We launched from Kingston Landing and paddled about 3 miles up Kings Creek.  Bird sightings were a little rare although we did see some blue herons, a juvenile bald eagle, ospreys, and turkey vultures.  There was some debate amongst the group as to whether we saw only one blue heron and were just chasing the same one up the creek.  We came out of the creek and had a short break again at Kingston Landing, and some of the group had to leave at that point.  The rest of us then paddled up the Choptank for about a mile and then explored a short creek in the Chesapeake Audubon Bird Sanctuary.   All in all, a very nice paddle.
